# Sign in and account access

Open the [Reconstruct Platform](https://reconstruct.dev/platform/) and select **Sign in**. Complete the sign-in steps to return to your workspace. If you are new to Reconstruct, select **Register** on the sign-in page to create an account.

Use the sign-in options shown on the page. If prompted, verify your email or complete the additional account verification step.

## Manage your account

Open account settings in the Platform to update your profile, manage account security and review your subscription and usage.

To connect an application or AI agent, follow [Connect via API](./connect-api.md) or [Connect an AI agent](./connect-ai-agents.md). MCP supports browser sign-in through OAuth as well as personal access tokens.

## Sign in to an MCP client through OAuth

An MCP client with OAuth support can open Reconstruct sign-in in your browser. Sign in, approve access and return to your agent or editor. The client manages the connection credentials; you do not need to create a personal token in Platform settings.

## Trouble signing in

- If your email or password is incorrect, check the details and try again.
- If you forgot your password, select **Forgot Password?** on the sign-in page and follow the instructions.
- If access is unavailable after signing in, check your subscription in account settings. For help with account access, [contact support](https://reconstruct.dev/support).

Never share your password or access tokens with another person.
