Reconstruct Analysis Methodology
Effective date: October 11, 2026
Reconstruct helps users understand interface structure and behavior. This notice supplements our Terms and Privacy Policy. A listed method does not mean it is available for every platform or target.
Sources and methods
We may observe lawfully accessible web, iOS, Android and desktop interfaces, review lawfully available source code, and conduct static analysis or decompilation where legally permitted. Before using a method we assess lawful access, licenses, applicable law, contractual restrictions and any technological protection measures. A publicly downloadable application is not necessarily licensed for decompilation. Open-source code remains subject to its license.
We do not treat a request, a paid download, or an educational/reference purpose as blanket permission to reverse engineer. We use legal exceptions, including those for interoperability, only where their conditions are met. We do not bypass access controls or technological protection measures without a specifically established lawful basis. We may decline analysis where that basis is unclear.
Application-analysis deliverables
Users receive descriptions of behavior, UI structure and Reconstruct's own analytical findings. This application-analysis feature does not distribute source code, decompiled code, application binaries or extracted resource packages. The separate web-capture feature can include screenshots and interface artifacts as described in the Terms; these remain subject to third-party rights and our removal process.
Findings may be incomplete, inferred or specific to an application version and test environment. Analysis does not certify security, compatibility, non-infringement or the right to reproduce a third-party product. Product names identify the analyzed target and do not imply endorsement or affiliation.
Customer inputs and public catalog
Use only supported submission channels. Do not send private source code, binaries, credentials or production personal data through support forms. Private analysis requires an agreement with you covering authorized access, permitted uses, recipients, retention and deletion. A Data Processing Addendum applies where we process personal data on your behalf.
Product capture requests are public and their results may be included in the shared catalog. Private analysis is available only if expressly agreed through a supported workflow. Customer-supplied private materials are not made public by default. We review catalog materials for lawful use, personal information, secrets and unauthorized reproductions before publication.
Questions and removal
Contact [email protected] about an analysis. Send privacy requests to [email protected] and rights complaints under our Copyright Policy. Reports should identify the product, version, catalog entry and disputed material.
